@savannahsspoor: The biggest misconception that people have is that I am harming bee populations. But, what's actually harming bees on a massive scale isn’t bee venom therapy. It’s industrial agriculture, specifically the widespread use of insecticides, herbicides, and pesticides. Monocropping and habitat destruction collapse entire colonies. 30 bees used therapeutically each week doesn’t compare to this. Honey bees only live for about six weeks, and the bees I get are at the end of their life cycle. During peak season, a queen bee can lay up to 1,500 eggs a day.
