Ten years later they made an album together as equals It began as a five song EP and grew into a full album. They refused to send files back and forth, so they recorded it in the same room across New York, Paris, Sydney, Honolulu and Abu Dhabi At OVO Fest in 2013 Ye told the crowd that he and Jay would have never made 'Watch the Throne' if Drake had not been putting that pressure on them It debuted at number one on Billboard with 436,000 copies in its first week and around 290,000 of those came from iTunes alone, which was a record for the store at the time. Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Kid Cudi, Mr Hudson and Seal all appear on it, and Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy designed the cover under Virgil Abloh's art direction On June 18th 2012 they closed their Paris run by playing the album's biggest song 12 times in a row.
