This episode portrays depression very well. In my view, it shows that children are also capable of feeling and suffering, things that most adults always treat as "drama." Besides Mr. Mackey Using a stereotype that's often used to describe a man as "sensitive" causes friends to distance themselves, even if you don't want that to happen, and you know it's happening because of you. Then you realize that South Park is much more than just a joke show.

he’s such an important character to me, from the very beginning episode all the way to tegridy farms being the main focal point. he’s always been the one i leaned towards in terms of favorite characters and i think that’s because i see how realistic his life and feelings are compared to the extravagant lives of the other kids, he’s always so real and raw even in the most absurd moments, i see so much of myself in him.
