Bihari Qeema Ingredients: * 650g beef mince * 2 onions, sliced * 5 tbsp oil * ⁠ 1 tbsp ghee * 1 tbsp green chilli paste * 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste * ½ tbsp coriander seeds * ½ tbsp cumin seeds * ½ tbsp black pepper * 1 bay leaf * 1 cinnamon stick * 3 green cardamoms * 1 tbsp paprika powder * 1 tbsp salt * 3 tomatoes, blended/pureed * 3–4 whole green chillies * Handful fresh coriander * 1 piece hot charcoal for smoking Method: 1. Deep-fry the sliced onions until golden. Remove and drain on kitchen paper. 2. Blend the coriander, cumin, black pepper, bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom into a coarse spice mix. 3. Mix the beef mince with green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, spice mix, paprika, fried onions and ghee. Marinate for 2 hours. 4. Heat 5 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the marinated mince and cook on high heat for 2–3 minutes. 5. Add tomato purée and salt. Mix, cover, and cook on very low heat for 10–15 minutes. 6. Add whole green chillies and fresh coriander. 7. Place a hot charcoal in a small piece of foiland smoke for 5 minutes. 8. Serve hot with paratha and raita. #keema #cookingtales11 #bihari #fyp #viral
