@John’s Second Chance: Hi Anthony! Yes dad had a triple bypass surgery! He also needs his aortic valve replaced but they’re going to hold off on it they said it’s doing okay for now. His heart is functioning at 30% right now but after the surgery and a medication regimen, they are really hopeful that it will improve. He can eventually go back to work, but not hard labor like he is used to & not for at least a year and we’re not able to claim disability due to an inability to link his heart disease to his time in the Navy. We hope you’re recovering nicely from your valve replacement!! Curious as to what type of valve they gave you? They’re planning on a bovine valve for dad, but that game plan may probably change when the time comes, they’re monitoring it closely for now.
