everything i did as a neuroplasticity & fat loss coach 1️⃣ wrote a letter to my future self. your brain doesn’t always distinguish between what’s real and what’s vividly imagined. when you pair imagination with strong emotion, you activate the same neural circuits you would if it were actually happening. writing a future-self letter helps form new neural pathways and conditions your brain to believe you’ve already become that version of yourself. once your brain accepts it, your behaviors naturally start to align. 2️⃣ visualized and meditated daily. every morning, i visualize how that future version of me moves, eats, and carries herself. visualization strengthens the same neural networks used during real performance, it literally primes your brain for follow-through. i pair that with meditation to reduce cortisol, reset my nervous system, and tune into what my body needs each day. this balance of mental rehearsal and mindfulness keeps me grounded and consistent. 3️⃣ ate 150g of protein. protein is the foundation for everything: muscle repair, hormone balance, and metabolism. i aim for 0.7–1g of protein per pound of body weight. you won’t look “toned” without muscle, and you can’t build muscle without protein. the more lean tissue you have, the more efficiently your body burns fat. 4️⃣ maintained a moderate calorie deficit. i ate in about a 500–1000 calorie deficit per day, creating a sustainable 1–2 lb weekly fat loss rate. paired with high protein and strength training, this allowed me to lose fat while preserving lean muscle, a process known as body recomposition. 5️⃣ lifted six times per week. lifting is my therapy and my structure. i follow a progressive program inside the mai body method that’s designed for sustainable strength and visible results. i feel lucky every day to move my body and build proof that the version of me i imagined is real. ✨ this approach blends neuroplasticity (rewiring the mind), nutrition science (fueling the body), and resistance training (shaping the physique). it’s not magic, it’s MAI BODY :) 💬 comment “maibody” for a free fat loss checklist to get you started and feeling the most confident you’ve ever been. #maibody #neuroplasticity #fatlossjourney #bodyrecomposition #womensfitness
