@ambernicoleespriggs: 5 years ago, I wasn’t sitting in some fancy office teaching people how to build a business. I was in my BACKYARD trying to figure this shit out. 😭🔥 I started small. Like REAL small. I sold from my backyard. Then I took that hustle on the road with a mobile boutique. Then came the storefront. Then came YEARS of learning, failing, adjusting, promoting, showing up, hearing no, trying again, and refusing to quit. There was no overnight success. There were pop-ups. Farmer’s markets. Long days. Slow days. Posts that flopped. Ideas that didn’t work. Money I had to reinvest. Times I questioned whether any of this shit was actually going to work. But I KEPT GOING. And now, 5 years later, one of the craziest full-circle moments is realizing that I get to teach other people how to start building something of their own. 🥹 I didn’t learn business from sitting on the sidelines. I learned by DOING IT. I learned by starting before I felt ready. I learned by making mistakes. I learned by getting uncomfortable. I learned by promoting myself when nobody knew my name. I learned by showing up when the sales weren’t rolling in yet. So when I tell you to stop expecting your entire life to change in 7 days… I mean that shit. Give yourself TIME. Your first setup might be in your backyard. Your first video might get 200 views. Your first month might not make thousands. Your first idea might completely flop. WHO CARES?! START ANYWAY. Because the version of you 5 years from now might look back at the version of you today and say… “Thank God I didn’t quit.” 🙏🏼 I’m living proof that where you START does not determine where you FINISH. Backyard ➡️ mobile boutique ➡️ storefront ➡️ building businesses ➡️ teaching others how to do the same. And baby… I’m still getting started. 🔥 Don’t despise small beginnings.
