im trans aswell and a good tip is if you do loads of swimming i would recommend investing into a boyleg swimsuit i got mine from sports direct for about £15 and its one of the best things i ever bought :)

I have trans friends in person and I’m not trans but we all wear swim shorts over a bikini! It’s not the greatest alternative but it’s super comfy
