Because Tim’s coffee needs to be timed. It needs to be brewed and make them fresh every after 15 to 20 mins. Whether it has been freshly brewed when it lapsed they have to discard them and make a new one.

Tim Horton’s was my first job 18 years ago. They PRIDED themselves on time stamping coffee pots (20 minutes) for ultimate freshness. If it was over the timestamp you’d dump and brew a fresh pot. Now today’s standard for anything seems to be so lacklustre. People just simply do not care about anything anymore. Can’t even get a hello, let alone a decent coffee for Christ sake. 🥴

After Timmies was sold they changed coffee suppliers.... McDonald's now owns the coffee that timmies once had in the beginning.... Born & raised in birthplace of timmies... I can't even drink their coffee now..... have tried McDonald's and yes it is the original timmies coffee
