@pawsofhoperescues: Meet Pogo 💔 This is Pogo the little soul you see in this video, so frail his every rib and vertebra stands out as he finally eats after what must have felt like forever. When he was found, Pogo was on the brink. Severe malnutrition had wasted his body to almost nothing, and a painful skin disease (likely advanced mange combined with secondary infection) had left him nearly hairless, itchy, and covered in sores. One of his legs is already bandaged from the wounds and weakness. He is fighting for his life. Pogo is safe with us now, but the road ahead is long and expensive. He needs urgent veterinary care: bloodwork, parasite treatment, antibiotics, pain relief, specialized nutrition, and ongoing monitoring until he can put on healthy weight and his skin begins to heal.
