People are hilarious with the gacha games and men conversation, they don’t sell because the companies don’t want them to. Just look at what happens when these devs actually put time and passion into male character designs and their stories. Phainon was a massive success in HSR and Oberon is literally one of the best selling characters in the history of FGO because they actually cared to make them desirable to players!!!

Los personajes masculinos no venden por qué siempre vienen antes de un personaje con nuevo elemento (siempre están rotos) o vienen detrás de una void hunter.

No es porque sean hombres, porque en Genshin y honkai han tenido banners masculinos que han venido muy bien. Si ellos hicieran a un personaje masculino con cariño y que fuera útil y versátil en los equipos (como un support o sub dps) incluso aunque lo pongan antes de una void hunter el personaje tendrá que vender (en vez de hacerlos a todos dps)

судя по данным, с точки зрения бизнеса это хорошая стратегия. Да можно ныть что парней нет, что дизайн странный но деньги это приносит. Парни не особо нужны в гачах с точки зрения продаж, но их же делают нужно уже говорить спасибо. Да нет в разнообразия игровых моделей и рас, какой-то цветов кожи или просто интересных концептов. Но не мы целевая аудитория, нам просто дали возможность играть

I’m 100% certain that if Manato had been an S-rank character with more fleshed-out gameplay, his banner would have made HoYo a fortune. But alas, they decided to release a bunch of female S-rank characters instead—and on top of that, he got a worse skin than any other four-star character. It’s such a shame HoYo didn’t let him truly shine 😭😭

istg those ppl act like hsr and genshin don't exist even though they have already proved that male chars can be wildly popular and are capable of selling well. look at Phainon (one of the best selling ones (yes, he is a long awaited expy of Kevin, which also played a role, but that also proves that Kevin, a male char, is VERY well loved)), Flins (placed after Lauma and still sold well), Neuvillette (who was almost debuffed but fans got mad in his stead!), Sunday (one of the most awaited chars in the 2.x patches), etc... devs CAN make cool male chars. IMHO, Joyous and Arche have a chance of being just as great and successful, and it will be shame to see them become NPCs 🥀

Sbilly was super hyped and sold worse then Norma. Norma was made for him, she was a worse stunner then Dialyn, she was droped in anomaly meta after a wind unit and before a void hunter and so on. Norma had everything worse then Sbilly yet sold better then him. When will you people admit that men don't sell?
