@hvacsensei: How To Properly Charge a System in HVAC! R-410 is a blended refrigerant, so the correct way is to pull a vaccum first, but based on circumstances, we didn’t pull a vaccum. Make sure you understand what metering device you have, don’t rush it and overcharge. #hvac #DIY #hvacarmy #hvactechnician #fyp
Dang yall really don’t know the a liquid turns to a vapor when adding refrigerant 😅 he’s doing everything right

Did you offer a new lineset or to even correct the leak ? If so that’s the difference in price between fixing a leak and charging her up vs replacing the lineset and charging her up ?

I need help!!! My house wont cool!!! I had a new 3-ton York 454b system installed and it runs nonstop for 3 weeks now! Return is 75°, supply 65–70°. Old line set was reused and possibly not flushed. Could that be the problem? Ive had 5 techs out and they all say different things! No one has fixed the problem…

Aren’t you supposed to throttle the refrigerant into the system? Or is it okay to let it fully open?

anthonyross :
It don’t just turn to vapor when the can is upside down you still have to throttle it in the low side.
