Things to do in La Paz, Mexico ⤵️🌊✨
✨ 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 La Paz is one of those places that’s equal parts laid-back and adventurous. If you’re planning a visit, here’s a mini guide to help you make the most of your time. 🐋 Must-Do Activities • Swim with whale sharks
Season typically runs from mid-November through April. One of the most incredible marine life experiences if you love the ocean.
• Boat rides along the coast
• Sandboarding in the surrounding dunes
• Cerro de la Calavera hike for sweeping views over the city and sea 🏖 Beaches to Visit • Playa Balandra
Worth the hype. Calm, shallow water and unreal color.
Timed entry required:
8am–12pm or 1pm–5pm
You’ll need to purchase an entry bracelet in advance.
• Playa El Caimancito
Free, beautiful, and only about 15 minutes from the city.
• Playa El Tecolote
Great for swimming, beach days, and sunsets. 🍽 Where to Eat • Azotea – rooftop dining and one of the best sunset spots
• Sorstis Restaurante
• Oliva al Mare – sunset + incredible meal
• Tatanka Baja Fish and Steakhouse ☕ Coffee & Bakeries • Gratitude Specialty Coffee Roasters
• Paradiso Bakery
• Cara de Pez
• Doce Cuarenta Coffee & Bakery 🚶‍♀️ Getting around We walked a lot, but Ubers and taxis are easy to find and very affordable. La Paz is such a special place and only about a 2.5-hour flight from LA.
Would you add this to your Baja itinerary? 🌅✨ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗱𝘆
