UPDATE | 9 August, 20:00 We’ve been working hard to get in touch with the lady in the video, and we’re grateful that we were able to speak to her this evening after she had been at church throughout the day. We learnt that a refund was due to her, but was delayed due to an approval process. Unfortunately, this led to frustration. As soon as we understood what happened, we immediately confirmed with our team that a full refund had been initiated. We also replaced her Party Meal that she initially bought, and also added two additional 20-piece buckets and Unicorn Sundaes for the kids. We’re also urgently reviewing our refund process to understand how we can do better and prevent a situation like this from happening again. At Hungry Lion, our customers are more than just customers. They’re people. We’re people too! We have families, children and loved ones, and we understand how this affects families. We never want anyone to leave a Hungry Lion feeling unheard, uncared for or disappointed.
