Girl you gotta be loud! Me and my friend were being watched in a Ross. I suspected it at first but fully accepted it when the guy was looking at women’s sweaters. I looked right at him while “talking to my friend” and very loudly said well it’s a little suspicious that a man would be looking at woman’s sweaters thinking we don’t notice them but I mean what do I know I’m just a girl” he left lol. I play no games. I will always make them feel more uncomfortable.

I had this happen in the hickory neighborhood market.. I asked him who the fuck he was following very loudly.... and then started following him.. he left me alone 😏

I work at the pharmacy, and its honestly been going on for a couple years now on the regular especially during the Holidays . About 5 years ago when we worked later hours (9pm) I had a customer who came through the drive thru, and claimed I never gave him back his ID (even tho cameras show I did) he was very aggressive on making ME go out and look for it in his truck, after our LP offered to help search... Later on that night cop cars was surrounded the parking lot due to calls about a truck Sextrafficing. Co-workers think he was part of it.😬

I’m here in Lenoir too, me and my daughter go there all tthe time. 😳 i usually carry but there are plenty of occasions i don’t too but definitely won’t be happening again. Carry the awareness in morganton, too! I’ve been physically grabbed in a precarious location of my body (~5 years ago), and was followed through the parking lot in my car a few weeks ago- just to name a few situations I’ve encountered at the morganton Walmart!

This is why being aware of your surroundings is very important!! You did a great job! I see too many women staring at their phones while walking in public, completely clueless as to what’s going on around them and that is so dangerous. I’m pregnant and have to go to the store with my 5 and 6 year old children by myself a lot because my husband is a truck driver and works a lot so it’s very scary. But I also am very open and honest with my children about this exact thing, because people are crazy and you never know what could happen. I have to get very strict with my children in public and I get dirty looks in the store from people who may think I’m being mean to my children but I would 1000% rather people think I’m being mean then for something to happen to my babies.

I hate going anywhere without my fiancé. It’s so scary out there and people are ruthless and relentless. They will do whatever they can to make sure their goal (usually trafficking) is achieved and it’s terrifying. I’m glad you’re safe!

I live in the same area and the same thing happened to me! It was me and my 1yo son and this guy would not leave us alone. So I found two workers and loudly said “THIS MAN HAS BEEN FOLLOWING ME AND MY SON AND MAKING ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. CAN YOU PLEASE WALK WITH ME?” I was pointing at him and making it very well known to all shoppers around what this man was doing. Stay safe bestie 🤍 stay safe everyone

I was being watched and recorded in Lenoir with my twins. Loss prevention caught him on the cams. It’s a good thing the cops got there before their daddy.
