@fabiansntm: It’s a strange thing to try and describe. I know what I’m asking but some people might not understand. It’s a weird feeling to have in your head of it being so loudly quiet that’s it’s louder than constant noise. I guess it’s just a part of you that then feels lonely without your kids there… 👽 #relateable #singledad #foru
I have 50/50 with the kiddies Dad. I have them solidly for 6 days and then they leave and go to Dads. But I get you with that loud quiet, you feel it more when they leave x

Silence is deafening, it’s horrible when your kids aren’t there. Obviously I’m not in your position, but I still hate it when Josh goes to his Dads.

It’s the emptiness that feels so heavy. You get used to them there, even when they’re chilling not just having sibling rivalry and debates they’re there. No matter their age they’re in demand of you, your attention, your love, your wallet ;) so when there not there you miss that and all on a sudden the silence is loud, they emptiness is heavy. And you feel the emptiness in the house, the house feeling lonely, the silence being consuming. Much love always. I feel completely lost without mine for a hour, the first 30minutes I’m cleaning vigorously then it hits me. I feel for you being so far. If I didn’t have strong commitments I’d have to move closer to them. Xx

😢 Stay busy for the next few days until you get used to it again. Keep the TV or radio on all the time for background noise and get stuck in to the gym. They've had the best time with you & they'll be back again soon 🩷🩷

My daughter’s dad lives 3.5 hours away, he still has her every weekend he’s off the rig. He will drive 7 hours in a day to pick her up, then do the same 2 days later!❤️

Silence is so deafening 😢 Your an amazing Dad 💙. I've now got an empty nest and I cannot stand the silence. Hang on in there it will get better somehow. You will make it happen 🙏✨️
