He was known for his roles as Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey's Anatomy and Commander Tom Chandler in The Last Ship. Dane started his career with smaller roles in the 1990s and 2000s, including a recurring role on Charmed. He also appeared in the HBO drama series Euphoria.
