Role: He managed the fortress of Angband while Morgoth was in captivity, and later led key operations and conquered the island of Tol Sirion. Unlike other servants who only destroyed, Sauron had a mind for organization and long-term planning. 2. Ancalagon the Black – The Greatest Dragon. The first and largest winged dragon in the history of Middle-earth, created as Morgoth's ultimate weapon of mass destruction.
