@drdavidabbasi: You are one walk away from a better day. 🧠 A researcher put electrodes on children's heads, sent half of them on a 20-minute walk, and left the rest sitting quietly. The scans weren't even close. Dr. Charles Hillman's team at the University of Illinois found that the walking group showed a measurable spike in specific neuroelectric activity tied to attention and focus, and that same group performed noticeably better on cognitive tasks immediately afterward. No caffeine. No supplements. Just movement. It's the kind of finding Nietzsche would've recognized without needing an EEG cap. He wrote his final book almost entirely on foot, walking six to eight hours some days, and left behind advice that still holds up: sit as little as possible, and don't trust an idea that wasn't born in the open air, moving. Your brain isn't broken when it feels foggy. It might just be sitting down. ✅Follow @drdavidabbasi for More Daily Medical Content & Health Tips! 📍Schedule a consultation in Delray Beach! cool concept but what about if you sit quietly doing something you love or after a meditation session ? it could show something similar to the brain after the walk.
