I think as grown men they should absolutely practice turning inward and retrospection and understand why alot of women and afab feel the way they do, however I do think that bioessentialism runs rampant in misandry and that can inadvertently perpetuate patriarchal systems especially onto young children and minorities

men have never been taught by society to love themselves because society hates them. women have. women have to learn how to love themselves way they look because they’re told everything about them needs to all look this one way. men haven’t been told that. when we say we want equality, and equality meaning respect and rights same as they do to their own bodies, lives, and in society as a whole, they feel threatened because they don’t know a world where they aren’t the main focus of attention. men want to please other men, not women.
