These wheeled walkies with him are a team effort—on his time! ♥️ Here’s how his custom setup works: The “Bite” Clip: We modified his harness with a clip on the bottom that hooks directly to his wheelchair frame. When he walks, his front body naturally pulls the wheels along! The Safety Net: We never really use the leash to pull or rush him. It’s strictly there to guide him away from obstacles and danger... and act like a parachute! If his wheels tip or “crash,” a gentle lift on the lead keeps him from scraping his belly. We pick the general direction, but Joey calls all the shots—the speed, the sniffing stops, and who he socializes with.
