Hmmmmm the definition of land may not necessarily translate into ownership of or interest in land. What he said is true for the one part of the meaning of land, thus quid quid planteur solo solo cedit (anything permanently attached (immovable property) to the 'earth's surface' becomes part of the land. However, land ownership is different. legal title can be overriden by many other means including adverse possessions per the Limitations Act. My 1 cent.

But "I'm told," (not verified) that if someone builds a house up to lentils on your land that person automatically gets the land but is now obliged by law to get you another land of its equivalence somewhere? Or it takes a court to determine the ownership based on the land documentations and how best your lawyers can convince the jury of the court of competent jurisdiction?

I bought a piece of land from say Kofi and about several years time , Adzoa comes in claiming to be the real owner of the land where the issue is been sent to court between Kofi and Adzoa . What is the stance of me the buyer? How does the law works in this situation?
