@holisticdocta: FIBERMAXXING is one trend I can actually get behind 👏🏼🌱 Getting enough fiber isn’t just about staying regular—it helps feed beneficial gut bacteria, supports production of short-chain fatty acids like butyrate, and promotes a healthier colon environment. The goal? Aim for ~25–35g of fiber per day and focus on VARIETY: fruits, veggies, beans, whole grains, nuts & seeds. 🥝🥦🫘 Your gut microbes want fiber. Feed them. 🦠 #FiberMaxxing #Fiber #GutHealth #ColonHealth #Microbiome
if your distal colon niche has collapsed fiber isn't going to do much. you need very specific substrates. distal Colonocytes are sensitive to oxygen so that's where I'm thinking increased colon cancer rates is coming from.
so far I've identified the following
PHGG (this is key player)
Boysenberry
Maqui
blackberry
aronia
blackcurrant
bilberry
flaxseed
pectin
larch arabinogalactan
and resistant starches later on
