Click the link in my bio for ALL recipes ☺️🍋 I’ve been logging my desserts into the @Kalo app - so easy and it’s been helping me stay on track! *below is the condensed version - click the link in my bio for details & notes* 🍋Lemon Loaf * 250 g all-purpose flour (2 cups + 1 tbsp) * 15 g cornstarch (2 tbsp) * 1 1/4 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp baking soda * 3/4 tsp fine sea salt * 2 tbsp poppy seeds * 200 g organic cane sugar (1 cup) * 60 g light brown sugar, packed (1/4 cup + 1 tbsp) * 120 g neutral oil (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp) * 160 g plain unsweetened yogurt of choice, room temperature (2/3 cup) I use forager * 130 g milk of choice, room temperature (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp) - I use silk * 30 g fresh lemon juice (2 tbsp) * 2 tbsp finely grated lemon zest * 1/4 tsp lemon extract Instructions 1. Preheat 350°F. Line 9x5 loaf pan. 2. Rub zest into sugars. 3. Add oil, yogurt, milk, lemon juice, lemon extract; whisk smooth. 4. Whisk dry separately. 5. Combine just until smooth. 6. Pour + smooth. 7. Add thin cold butter line down center for split (optional). 8. Bake 45-55 min. 9. Bake until moist crumbs. 10. Cool completely. Vanilla Glaze * 240 g powdered sugar (2 cups) * 55-70 g water (1/4 cup) * 1 tsp vanilla bean paste * Pinch fine sea salt Instructions 1. Whisk sugar + salt. 2. Add vanilla + liquid, whisk smooth. 3. Adjust until thin + ribboning. 4. Pour over cooled loaf. 5. Let set until glaze firms. #summerdessert #lemonpoppyseed #quickdessert #easydessert
