🐟🍉 Tuna Watermelon “Chess Board” (2 servings) Ingredients Chess Board • 150gr tuna • Equal-sized piece of watermelon Sauce • 1 peach • 3 passion fruits • 1 tomato • ½ cucumber • 1 shallot • 1 garlic clove • 25ml soy sauce • 25ml rice wine vinegar • 25ml olive oil To Garnish • Wasabi mayonnaise • Green onions • Salmon roe • Pickled peppers • Sesame seeds • Green herb oil (I can give you the recipe) Recipe 1️⃣ Start with the sauce. Add the peach, passion fruit, tomato, cucumber, shallot, garlic, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and olive oil to a blender. 2️⃣ Blend until completely smooth, then pass it through a fine mesh sieve. Place the sauce in the fridge until you’re ready to serve. 3️⃣ Cut the tuna and watermelon into equal 2.5cm cubes. 4️⃣ Grab a plate and start arranging the tuna and watermelon cubes alternately until you’ve created a chess board pattern. 5️⃣ Pipe small dots of wasabi mayo onto the watermelon cubes and add salmon roe on top of the tuna. 6️⃣ Garnish with sliced green onions and pickled peppers, then sprinkle over some sesame seeds. 7️⃣ Pour the chilled sauce around the chess board and finish with a drizzle of green herb oil. Enjoy!!! 🐟🍉👌 WOW WOW WOW! Not only a feast for the eyes, but for the belly as well. The sauce complemented the fresh tuna perfectly, while the watermelon gave the whole dish a really nice freshness and lightness. But damn… I think the star of the show might actually be this awesome plate I got from @mimo.amsterdam . That super dark blue, almost black colour makes the whole dish pop even more. Restaurant-quality for sure! Go check them out!!! 🫶🏼 #tuna #watermelon #EasyRecipe #gazpacho #dinner
