As an oldest daughter who always had to make sure everyone else was good and asleep before she could fall asleep growing up…. I now have to fall asleep before my husband because i feel safest that way. And as someone who has NEVER been able to nap, the second my head hits his lap or shoulder I start passing out. Feeling safe does wonders for sleep guys.
