I lost my brother in 2009. Fast forward to 2011 and we moved to a new house (rental). My first night there I was up late and I heard my keys jingle. They were hanging on a nail and there wasn't any fans etc. I shook it off, maybe an hour or so went by and this time I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I turned around and my brother was there, he didn't say a word! Just pointed to my keys. I immediately woke my husband up and told him what had happened. I told him we're waking up the kids and going to my grandmas for the night. So that's what we did. It had to been 2 am when we pulled up at my grandmas. That next morning we had appointments scheduled to have the gas, electric and water inspected and switched into our name. The house was discovered to have had a carbon monoxide leak! Our lives were saved that night! The leak was repaired and we got the all clear. I've never seen my brother again but I have no doubt that he's always watching over me. ♥️♥️

The lady that stayed above me knew her bf was bringing women to the house just couldn’t prove it. She recruited me to help catch him. So she did her normal routine but instead of going to work she parked at the building on the other side. I waited for someone to come and I called her and let her know. She went in and caught them. They were so into they didn’t even notice she didn’t say a word. She left and came back to my house and said thank you. She waited till he went out of town for work and cleared the house. He came back to an empty house. He still doesn’t know how she found out. And that’s still my girl!

I just found out how my great grandfather died. He was a drunk and used to beat his wife. Mostly after he was on a bender. He came home late one winter night talking his bullshit to my grandmother. She refused to let him in and beat on her. Asshole died outside the door of hypothermia. She’s a badass and my hero 💪🏼

This isn’t super shocking. Well it is because it’s not common but it’s also kind of sad at the same time growing up. I was probably maybe 10 or 12 maybe we were just hanging out watching TV when all the sudden we heard this loud boom and our house shook. Turns out it was my neighbor’s house more so their garage something sparked and made a 55 gallon drum of race fuel explode and then there were smaller explosions because of the little smaller gas cans and then there was also a car in there that also caused an explosion craziest thing I’ve ever experienced.

My younger sister, 10 years younger, decided at 16 years old to get together with my Ex, who was 12 years older than her, move into my home I’d just left. Then my mum decided it was ok so I got excluded from Xmas get together so my sister and ex could attend. It was many years ago … heartbreaking on so many levels but I’m stronger for it and have forgiven
