I hate how quickly they moved on after this too??? like imagine going(technically getting forced) into going to a club with your teammates,getting drugged so they can make you spill your secrets,knocking yourself out so you won't have to and the waking up in someone else bed????? I know Neil didn't react much cause he's prolly seen and been through worse shit while on the run but come on?? that is horrifying and I really wish there were fics that actually depicted this.

I read this for the first time yesterday and was so angry. I still am honestly. There was an apology, but it didn't feel well discussed enough—especially the Nicky bit. Neil may have moved on, but I won't. 😭

I feel like the fandom glosses over this this much and if they even talk about it, it’s only about Nicky kissing Neil (WHICH WAS WRONG) but it made me despise Andrew until the last book. I couldn’t stand him. What an awful thing to do to somebody.

The only resentment I felt after that scene was towards Nicky and the forced kiss with Neil. Even knowing he'd rejected you before, you kissed him just because (it wasn't even part of the plan), It's not that Nicky didn't know Neil didn't like him; he'd already told him about three times that he wasn't interested. And then his apologies didn't seem genuine, You apologized to him, but he kept speaking in German about how he wanted to fuck Neil, and he didn't stop until he realized that Neil spoke German. It just makes me think he apologized to feel better about himself, not because he truly meant it. And the worst part is that Nicky has a boyfriend; I just hope Erik have the same personality.
