Purple on purpose. 💜🌪️ Saturday night reminded me of something I already knew: I’m not missing much by protecting my energy. I still love getting pretty, putting on a dress and popping out every now and then, but somewhere along the way, what I consider “fun” changed. I’ve outgrown the need to always be outside. These days, I get excited about traveling, learning, elevating spiritually, deepening my initiations, building my business and creating a future where I don’t have to work this damn hard forever. 😂 And baby, 2026 has been TRANSFORMATION. Not the cute kind either. The kind that shakes shit loose, puts things directly in your face and forces you to decide whether you’re going to evolve or keep holding on. That is Ọya. 🌪️ So when I chose this purple dress, it meant something to me. Purple represents the energy I’m embracing right now—power, elevation, transformation and stepping deeper into who I am becoming. And when I walked in Saturday feeling “overdressed,” something clicked: I wasn’t overdressed. I was dressed for ME. I came to celebrate someone else, but unknowingly, I was celebrating myself too. People don’t see every change happening behind closed doors. They don’t see every sacrifice, every lonely moment, every decision it takes to rebuild, redirect and prepare for the life you actually want. But Ọya does. And through every wind of change, I’m grateful for the Mother who walks with me. She has taught me that everything leaving is not a loss, everything changing is not a punishment, and every storm is not sent to destroy. Some winds come to move you forward. I’m not fighting the wind anymore. I’m letting my Mother carry me where I’m supposed to go. 💜🌪️🔥 Ọya, mo júbà. — Oya Tolu #Purple #Oya #EmbracingChange #fypシ゚viral #Ashe
