It’s crazy to think that 3 months and 16 days from this PT session I was laying on the operating table getting my leg chopped off. Even though there are some very ugly days and moments along the way, having these successes make up for it! This was the day after I got my pink leg! It seems like even if my leg is killing me, going to PT makes me feel more capable! I get to really work on my prosthetic leg. There’s times my leg hurts too bad to stand on but we still do exercises that I’ll post eventually. Standing on a prosthetic leg and trying to be balanced is SO HARD! You don’t realize how much you use your toes or your ankle to make little movements to stay balanced and centered.
