@fatlosscoachivan: ⚠️ Minerals & Vitamins That Block Each Other — Top 20 Combos to Avoid You can eat perfectly and still be deficient if you're stacking the wrong nutrients together. Absorption isn't just about what you eat — it's about what you eat it with. Here's what to separate. 🔴 CALCIUM CONFLICTS Calcium + Iron — calcium blocks iron absorption by up to 50%, don't take your iron with a glass of milk Calcium + Zinc — high-dose calcium competes with zinc for the same absorption pathway Calcium + Magnesium — they share transporters in the gut; heavy calcium intake can crowd out magnesium 🟠 IRON CONFLICTS 4. Iron + Coffee/Tea — tannins bind to iron and can cut absorption dramatically, wait an hour either way 5. Iron + Calcium — same issue as above, worth repeating because dairy-with-steak is a common mistake 6. Iron + Zinc — both compete for the same gut receptors when taken in high doses together 7. Iron + Whole Grains — phytates in grains bind iron and reduce how much your body actually uses 🟡 ZINC CONFLICTS 8. Zinc + Copper — high zinc intake over time can suppress copper absorption and cause a deficiency 9. Zinc + Iron — reversible, same competition issue from both directions 10. Zinc + Folate — very high folic acid intake can interfere with zinc absorption 🟢 FIBER & PHYTATE CONFLICTS 11. Fiber + Calcium — too much fiber at the same meal as a calcium source lowers uptake 12. Phytates (beans, grains) + Iron — a major reason plant-based iron is absorbed worse than meat-based iron 13. Phytates + Zinc — same mechanism, another reason legumes need soaking or sprouting to help absorption 🔵 VITAMIN CONFLICTS 14. Vitamin C + B12 — large doses of vitamin C can degrade B12 if taken in the exact same meal 15. Vitamin E + Vitamin K — high-dose vitamin E can interfere with vitamin K's role in blood clotting 16. Vitamin A + Vitamin D — very high vitamin A intake can blunt vitamin D's effectiveness 17. Vitamin D + Magnesium — you actually need magnesium to activate vitamin D, so a deficiency in one limits the other 🟣 OTHER KEY CONFLICTS 18. Sodium (excess) + Calcium — high sodium intake increases calcium loss through urine 19. Manganese + Iron — both compete for absorption, common issue in over-formulated multivitamins 20. Caffeine + Calcium — caffeine mildly increases calcium excretion, worth accounting for if you drink coffee daily ✅ HOW TO FIX YOUR STACK Space conflicting minerals by at least 2 hours Take iron with vitamin C, not with calcium or coffee Don't mega-dose single nutrients in isolation — balance beats stacking Whole food sources naturally self-balance better than random supplement stacks Your multivitamin might be working against itself. Timing and pairing matter as much as what you're actually taking. Free 5 Days Fat Loss Start Diet - Beacons LINK in My BIO ⬇️ #FatLoss #FatLossCoach #Micronutrients #nutritiontips #healthyeating

Nova :
I am in menopause. I should be vitamin d deficient, but i'm over extended in my vitamin d because I take it with vitamin k. Because in order to get vitamin d to absorb, you need vitamin k and I work nights, so I don't get out in the sun. So somehow i'm taking a supplement with both d and k in it, and they don't cancel each other out. It actually is producing more vitamin d

Charity, these are exceptions to the rules that I was telling you about vitamins and minerals. I had forgotten about these and this post came up today so if you take calcium and certain stuff together certain ones together, you have to wait I think like two hours but read the thing you’ll get it. You’ll enjoy it.
