I’m a pharmacist and I’ve never ever seen in my whole career a dose increase to meds in response to patient experiencing adverse effects or worsening. It’s INSANE!

My psychiatrist wouldnt take me off a medication for an entire year that wasnt helping and causing limb dystonia. Finally convinced her to taper over a year ago and ive been doing great without. Actually better because I can walk better and engage in activities that are fun. This helps my depression which we were trying to treat all along

Josef Witts video is pretty wild tbh. Arguing neurotoxicity when she showed no signs of it, is pretty unprofessional. She experienced side effects, yes, as most do. But insomnia is a pretty common side effect for Zoloft and it does not put someone into psychosis. Imo he should be reported to the board for that, because what he was saying is not in line with the ABPN and other orgs.

I think this case proofs how little we (in general) know about ppd and ppp even the medical providers this is a sign that there's not enough research about it, and that should change

The question, medical professionals missed critical warning signs ⁉️(prodromal symptoms or "prodromes") in the case of Lindsay Clancy, and whether she should have been involuntarily hospitalized. Did all her medical doctors and all her nurses miss Lindsay Clancy ( Predomes ) ⁉️Predome (s) are (signs) (early signs), and Lindsay Clancy had a bunch of ( Predomes ). Her doctor's gave RX Medications to improve her symptoms. Most RX Medications worsened how she felt. ⏩Lindsay Clancy early signs medical records profound insomnia, severe anxiety, obsessive or intrusive thoughts, and a rapidly shifting mental state. 🤔Lindsay Clancy escalating symptoms were inadequately managed or exacerbated by an aggressive combination of psychiatric medications prescribed over a short period. ⁉️Medical providers missed the severity of her deterioration and failed to recognize the high risk trajectory of her psychosis, which ultimately detached her from reality. Psychosis and severe postpartum psychiatric episodes can wax and wane. Lindsay Clancy may appear coherent, calm, or compliant during a brief medical appointment or evaluation, masking the rapid shifts occurring internally. Lindsay Clancy described experiencing a ton of bad symptoms. Medical pattern a person having chronic insomnia can lead to dangerous behavior. 🚨A more aggressive safety net, such as inpatient stabilization, should be prioritized by the medical providers. ✅Common sense would have been for Lindsay Clancy to be admitted into ( Counseling / Treatment -Voluntary or Involuntary ). If by chance Lindsay Clancy wasn't volunterly attending Counseling/Supervised Treatmens. Hence best, for the safety 🛟 of all the 3 small 🩷💙💙 Children, the Medical providers should have recognized Lindsay Clancy ( Predomes) the severity, not improving with medications, severely worsening, therefore admitting Lindsay Clancy to ( Involventary Treatment / Counseling ). The tragedy most often, the healthcare system fails proper evaluation, lacks addressing counseling, and to closely monitor mothers suffering from postpartum psychiatric emergencie (s).
