My spouse loves loves loves his RX450h+plug in hybrid, but honestly I don’t get the hype. My ES is much more comfortable, thinking of going into an SUV myself but I think I’m skipping everything in between and going straight into an LX600.

The problem is it’s a 2 row compact/mid size vehicle that easily can cost 70k to get any features that you’d get out of a 45k suv with another brand.

This car is fine for $50k. For 50k, it’s a good deal but for what Lexus is charging you still don’t get a lot of features that either comes standard or optional in a Genesis GV80, or Mercedes GLE: 1.) lack of passenger side seat memory 2.) no option for massaging front seats 3.) no soft-close doors and the electronic door openers are frustrating to use (as a previous owner of 2024 RX350). 4.) no option for air suspension 5.) lack of V6 engine or V8. 6.) underpowered and unrefined 4 cylinders engine. No matter how thick the window glasses are, I can still hear the rattling 4 cylinders engine and road noises.
