This is a dangerous message. Someone in an abusive relationship will see this and think this is their sign to stay and be “a little more patient”.

But the minute it starts to cost u ur peace and makes u cry every single night u need to realize that it is time to let go, nothing comes before ur peace, i agree that u have to fight for who u love but when it strats to drain u u wont understand how much of a big negative effect it has on u until u lose ur spark and sanity, we all struggle to show out love but at least we show to our person how much we try, so no when it costs u ur peace then keep trying doesn't matter and certainly doesn't show ur emotional intelligence.

I actually think it’s the exact opposite and most people are slowly losing their emotional intelligence. I think we confuse it for nonchalance and stoicism

If someone loves you deeply and still doesn’t have it all together (mentally I’m not talking abt finance or whatever) then that person shouldn’t be dating that’s it. Before finding ur person you gotta find yourself first and work on urself that’s emotional intelligence, people are just rushing themselves into relationships

Life isn’t beautiful because we’re perfect. It’s beautiful because we grow. Real love isn’t looking for someone without flaws it’s choosing someone who’s willing to grow through them. The moment perfection becomes the standard, people don’t heal anymore. They just learn how to hide who they really are.

I think my personal biggest struggle is understanding the difference between giving grace and accepting when someone is truly not for you. I always find a reason to stay, understand, and make excuses. I take much longer to choose myself first and realize that patterns followed by inconsistency means it’s a choice they’re making. And that choice isn’t me

True but some things need to be worked on independently before attempting to be in a relationship, and at times “waiting while people figure things out” is tragic because why wait for someone who genuinely refuses to improve? Be patient to a reasonable extent but you can’t sacrifice your peace and your time to “fix” someone it’s not your job

but people don’t easily admit this. they just all wanna pretend like we all have it figured out and expect the world of everyone else. people seem to forget that we are all human which means that we are bound to mess up or hurt each other. don’t get me wrong i’m not saying forgive disrespect but grace should be given.

Emotionally intelligence has turned into a shield. We process more than we experience. We determine more than we understand. We're supposedly healed but can't tolerate anything. The point of growing is not about ascending above everything or needing everything to be constantly peaceful so we never test ourselves against what we've actually learned.
Too many people call themselves emotionally intelligent but lack emotional groundedness or stability.

i don’t agree with this… a lot of people are not becoming emotionally intelligent looll. as someone with emotional intelligence, i just see people who just don’t understand the concept of so many things, people that don’t even try to get to know themselves, people who give excuses for their poor behaviour… ugh the list is long. it’s not that we don’t want people who have things that will inconvenience us, it’s that we know what we want and how one’s supposed to act… and using the excuse that you’ve been through something… or not being healed from past things that now affect your behaviour to another person is still a lame excuse, your fault or not… ehh i can go on but yeah i disagree with this
