That rule literally makes not sense. 1 person fails and no one's able to stop them? For its a roll with TRIPLE DISADVANTAGE is what I'm hearing. Tell me I'm wrong. I'd tell him to change the rule or find a new player.

I’m not a fan of the lowest roll being the party result. It’s very unfair to the rest of the party, and it puts a really bad spotlight on the person with low stealth.

I mean, it's completely ok if they are fine with it, but I always hated this "the only stealth that matters is the lowest one" because that means my sneaky rogue is useless because the paladin with heavy armor is with us. It's dumb because the solution is either we are not sneaky at all or I leave the paladin behind, in any option someone is left behind, which it's not fun in a team game.
