A woman after God’s own heart must stop doing these four things. Sister, if you want to become a woman after God’s own heart, there are certain behaviours you need to let go of now. Please listen carefully to these four points, because the last one will be a serious warning to many women. First: Stop using your tongue to hurt others. Complaining, criticising, gossiping and speaking harsh, hurtful words— many people think these are only small, everyday matters, but in God’s eyes, they are not insignificant. The Bible says: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21, KJV Your words are not unimportant. They affect your own life and the lives of those around you. A woman who fears God will learn to control her tongue and use her words to bless others, not to tear them down. Second: Stop living in hidden sin. There are sins that no one else sees, but God sees them. Impure thoughts, wrong desires and relationships that do not please God. The world will tell you: “This is normal.” But the Bible says: “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3, KJV Hidden sin will gradually weaken your spiritual life and draw you further and further away from God’s presence. Third: Stop following the ways of the world. Spending hours scrolling on your phone, constantly comparing yourself with others on social media, chasing the world’s approval and becoming overly focused on your appearance. The world tells women: You must be more beautiful, receive more attention and make others envy you. But God’s Word says: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2, KJV Your true value does not come from how the world sees you. It comes from God. Fourth, and most importantly: Stop looking to men to determine your worth. Many women believe their value depends on receiving attention and approval from men. They try hard to please others, long to be noticed and constantly try to prove that they deserve to be loved. But the Bible says: “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30, KJV Your worth is not given to you by a man. It is given to you by God. When a woman learns to truly fear God, her life will naturally show dignity, wisdom and strength. Sister, you are precious in God’s eyes.
