literally 3 years after the murder, her lawyer who has looked at every possible avenue to help his client, helped her file a civil suit against the hospitals and medical providers. she was sat down and sworn in under oath, told if you are lying you will face perjury charges, and her lawyer (who is great by the way) who has had access to all of the evidence since day one and as of and expensive as he is, has a team of investigators looking under every rock they can, said yes tell them you did it, why you did it and what you said to them while doing it, so that during trial he could imply someone else did it. it makes zero sense to think that would be the avenue he takes.
