is this an okay place to ask how to be a good friend to someone whose parent has died (we’re 23)? i know i can’t relate, but my heart aches for her, and i often feel guilty that i still have my parents and she doesn’t bc it’s (obviously) not fair. anyways. death is cruel and i’m sorry for your loss ❤️🩹

my mom didn’t like taking pictures of herself so i don’t have very many pictures with her from when i was going into my tweens. I only have baby pictures with her and it makes me so sad because i feel like im slowly losing memory of our times together. i have nothing to look back on.

i wish i could give you a hug, i just lost my mom and i yearn for her 24/7 she was my everything. i’m 26 turning 27 and i don’t sometimes see the purpose of going on.. i just wanna be with her again, i’m so envious when i see them with their moms because i would kill for that. just like parents shouldn’t have to bury their child, we shouldn’t have to say goodbye to our moms so soon. all i keep telling myself is to live for her, i’m in school rn to become a pediatric nurse! and i just know she would be proud. nobody understands this pain unless it happens to you which i pray nobody has to feel that pain. i don’t think there’s any recovery because everyday since she died i cry. i just want my mommy😭 FUCK CANCER
