💼daddy’s got work
It’s not just the hot flashes. It’s waking up at 3 a.m. and knowing you’re going to be exhausted tomorrow. It’s forgetting why you walked into a room and then wondering if something is actually wrong with you. It’s looking in the mirror and wondering when your face changed. It’s putting on clothes that used to fit and suddenly feeling uncomfortable in your own body. It’s gaining weight despite doing the things that used to work. It’s having absolutely no interest in sex and then feeling guilty because you used to want it. It’s snapping at your husband over something ridiculously small and then feeling terrible because you don’t even recognize that version of yourself. It’s being overstimulated by noise, mess, questions, responsibilities, and everyone needing something from you… while you’re quietly wondering, “Why can’t I handle things like I used to?” And maybe the hardest part? You can’t always explain it. Because from the outside, you’re still functioning. You’re still getting the kids where they need to go. Still working. Still making dinner. Still showing up. Still taking care of everyone else. So people assume you’re fine. But inside, you’re exhausted from trying to figure out what happened to the woman you used to be. I know because I lived it. And I wish I could go back and tell that version of me: You aren’t losing your mind. You aren’t lazy. You aren’t failing. And you aren’t becoming a worse version of yourself. Your body is going through a massive transition. For me, the turning point was realizing I didn’t need to fight my body harder. I needed to understand it. I started looking at the whole picture—hormones, nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, strength training and the way I was supporting my body from the inside. And slowly, I started feeling like myself again. Not the 25-year-old version of me. Me. Just a version of me who finally understood what my body was asking for. If you’re in this season and you’ve been thinking, “Why does nobody understand what this feels like?” I see you. And if this put words to something you’ve been struggling to explain, save this and send it to another woman who needs to know she’s not the only one. comment Hormones if you want all the details for the Hormone pack protocol! #hormonehealthforwomen #perimenopause #womenshealth #hormonebalance #NervousSystemSupport
