@lets.savehorses.equine: Help Lulu Walk Without Pain 🐴 Lulu is only 6 months old. She should be running, playing, and discovering the world—not learning how to live with pain. Lulu is a sweet miniature donkey diagnosed with Ballerina Syndrome, a condition that causes her to stand on her toes instead of properly bearing weight on her hooves. She will be undergoing surgery to for bilateral forelimb check ligament desmotomy. This surgery will give her the best chance to walk comfortably. We have a goal of raising $5,000 to cover Lulu’s surgery and veterinary care. Lulu has already brought so much joy to our community through Animal Visitors days at local elementary schools and our Farm Animal Day events. She has made children smile, created special memories, and shown so many people the incredible connection between animals and people.
