It’s not just Lake Charles Kia, it seems to be Kia in general. I went to a Kia pop up sales event in Pontotoc, MS one time and the salesman took my license, car key, and cell phone and put them in the desk drawer and refused to return them until I signed a deal. I had to get irate to get my stuff back.

I wonder what she had to have done to her car in the first place. So glad she caught them and stood up for herself. Sad that we can’t even trust a dealership anymore.

Keep in mind whatever car they were using those parts for that person probably was paying for brand new parts and said they’re getting used parts.

work at a couple different dealerships i can tell you this happens way more than people know. I only work on my vehicles i dont trust any service center /dealership

I went to midas in Clark's TN bc my brake light was on. not only did they not fix my brakes & the light came right back on when I pulled outta the parking lot but I got halfway home & my entire wheel came off!!! I didn't have a lug nut 1 on the entire wheel. they almost got me killed with their negligence!!!

I sued Kia Corp & 2 dealerships in my area over a brand new Kia that we had in the shop a few times for an issue that they said all cars do & it's not a big deal. the part broke while driving & spun me into a semi. luckily I survived it. successfully won the lawsuit. Will never own a Kia or go to a dealership of theirs.

They didn’t confuse anything. That was intentional. There ain’t no telling how many times they have taken parts out and put in other vehicles. Basically, a chop shop.
