The only reason he’s *still alive* is because he has on-call, free, top of the line healthcare. Nearly no limits. AND he doesn’t have to spend any energy on taking care of himself because he’s waited on hand and foot.

My nan lived for 17 years with dementia, my dad lived for 3 years with dementia. It depends on what underlying conditions they have.

I’m a retired nurse and I specialized in dementia care. Unfortunately he is not near the end of dementia progression. His heart and/or kidneys on the other hand…. 😬

also... my narcissistic father w dementia could "fake it" when he was around doctors, ppl who didnt see him often. they didnt see the real picture like us Full time caregivers saw. Trump is on his absolute best game when he is in front of cameras. which honestly makes this 1000 times worse to think about.

There's a big decline between shouldnt be driving and dead. My worry is how long will that take. For my dad, it took 3 years. Now the last 6-10 months, it was also abundantly clear that he was out of his mind, so we could be getting close to that, which would be great. My dad also had lewy body dementia which was a weird presentation. Anyway, fingers crossed 🤞

I've worked memory care. I don't think he's as far along as close to dying, from that. Now his kidneys and cardio issues....I find much more imminently concerning. I'm totally not picky though 😂

To counter that: My dad had dementia caused by heart failure. I saw ALL of these symptoms between his 'can't drive' status and his 'no longer with us' status. It took less than two years overall. Copd plus kidney failure plus diabetes equals very severe decline in a short time. And I've seen ALL the signs you reference.

It doesn't matter how severe it is, or that this guy is "wrong" in how long it's taking. The point is he should be released from his Office and resting with his medical condition. Not running a Country. He's unwell and it shouldn't be this life or death game. There are others who can do this job and the US needs to get back to a functional Government.

Yes! He’s only still alive because he literally has the best free healthcare possible. I’m not sure why people don’t understand that. He has access to the newest drugs and treatments. Anything that he needs, he can get. If it were anyone else, they’d be gone already.
