Moms get so much heat. If mom didn’t speak up then it would be “where’s his mother”. When you do speak up then it’s “why are you putting his business out there” 🙄

I think you just broke everyone’s brain. A lot of times when a person is considered a danger, the parents get blamed for not acknowledging. Or the parents watch and believe that their child could do no harm. You have tried to help him. You’ve see the danger he is to himself and/or others and you’re speaking about it. Not many parents would as open as you are and I think that startles people. I see a mom that is trying to do her best. I’m sure the things you and your family have been through are still extremely painful for you. I applaud you for honesty and standing your ground to protect your daughter and other young women by speaking up.

I was in a relationship with a young man like your son and constantly I am reminded of how his mother knew (better than anyone) what he was, and the danger I was in, and she didn't do anything to keep me safe.
