YES OMG so my eyesight is actually horrible (-7 diopters) but i didn‘t wear my glasses for ages unless i had to (like to read the board in school) once i started wearing my contacts, i was actually SO surprised by just seeing all the peoples faces so clearly wherever i went. I just remember being so surprised by how sad most of them looked, because in my mind everyone would look kinda happy ? i do wear my contacts everywhere i go now, cause i can‘t imagine ever being this blind again, but i feel like i was truly at peace back then😭😭
