Ok I just moved from Chicago to Atlanta and they have a good Portillos in Kennasaw to get Italian beefs, you might like Harolds Chicken and Ice Bar out here, that’s pretty descent. Los Tortas in Sandy Springs got good Mexican food but that’s the only location that’s bussing. If you like Maxwells theres one in Atlanta that’s bussing, they have polishes, hotdogs, pork chop sandwiches, and burgers. The only popeyes I like is off Greenbriar but go early, the chicken be crunchy and fresh. Breakfast at Barneys have good brunch and crunchy ass cat fish. Thats the only place I’ve found that serve good catfish because other places dont know how to fry fish hard or what it means to have your fish steak cut. Their sauces are hit or miss, they don’t know the meaning of mild sauce. And everything at these food places is high asf. I cook at home but Welcome to Georgia 😏

it's pricey asl but if you ever want like a celebration dinner or smth 1885 grill is yummy but Kennesaw ain't the best for food food, lots of fast food over here tho.

Black- in Kennesaw you have pazzokah, and sivas. KENNESAW IS NOT ATL, and is 40min from it so prepare yourself

We have a Harold’s, Portillos, Culver’s in Kennesaw literally just go down Barrett parkway. Jinya Ramen is Delicious Baked Bear is right next to it definitely stop there after. Baladi coffee and Dulce Canela are some good coffee places. We have some good food trucks like Shawarma Grill Express, and so many taco trucks. omg I can’t think but when I do I’ll just keep adding this to this comment.

Downtown Marietta, downtown Acworth, downtown Kennesaw, downtown Woodstock, downtown Roswell all cities with a bunch of restaurants & bars walking distance from eachother. Each downtown city is roughly 15-20 min from KSU!

The night life in kennesaw is very underwhelming . They shut down everything . During big occasions like homecoming, halloweekend, welcome week, plan to go to Atlanta if you wanna have plans that last past 11 ngl .

Generally ride down W Barrett Parkway for food! Asian, Mexican, burgers, drinks and more! Some places even give a ksu student discount❤️
