Colour is messy. Girl who used to colour my hair would get colour all over herself, my face, her face (she would scratch her face with colour on her gloves), and on my clothes. I'd be wrapped in two towels one around the back of my neck and shoulders, one around the front of my neck and chest plus would have a cape in.

Serious question: I called a new stylist before I booked and asked if they specialized in pixie cuts, she got very angry and offended, saying "I graduated beauty school, of course I know how to do a pixie." I have had so many bad cuts, I just wanted to avoid it if it wasn't something they were comfortable with. Is there a better way to ask for something?

lol. Thanks for this tip. I wore a black dress to work and then got my hair done. The guys left the bleach on my hair too long because he was leaving for vacation for a month and overbooked himself. He was working on 4 of us at once. He bleached the whole back of my dress and burned my hair off and it was a horrible color. That cost me $450 plus ruined dress $500 plus getting hair fixed $1000. Most expensive hair color I ever got

I’ve been seeing my stylist for years now (not regularly like i should be) but I dye my hair red and last time she was putting the red glaze that she uses and it’s in a squeeze bottle and it got all over me and we both just laughed it off because accidents happen

bro, color is messy, but high key my stylist does an incredible job keeping it off my clothes (i also regularly paint in a lot of my clothes so getting color on them is the least of my problems), but even then when i accidentally wore a work shirt from my job at a country club, i just asked if we could double cape and it was fine
