Lucky. This video may be a bit deceiving but it looks like this boat was moving to get close to these whales as it seems to be still moving forward while right beside the whales. And as everybody knows, as soon as you see orcas you are to stay minimum 200 meters away and to immediately turn off your engine to reduce underwater noise and lessen the stress on the whales. I really hope that these whales surprised the captain by coming out of no where and they immediately disengaged the motor.
