I legit don't think I could attend DCC as an attendees. the little breaks we get from our booth are overwhelming enough! and I'm glad it's not just me who found the artist alley cramped and small!

the artists alley was so disappointing :( with their old layout there were barely any artists compared to the dropship hell thats the first floor, but they made it even SMALLER this con??

also! just for you all who don't know... the place was too overcrowded to the point, that there was a queue of 100 people to re enter.... I am a new vendor who was at dcc as a cosplayer, and some vendors told me that there was not enough space, so squeezed that products were stolen..... there were issues with tabling.... with actual good artists wanting to come but we're replaced with the ai body pillow shops ground floor.... lowkey... have bottom floor as artist Alley...

always over selling, no accessibility, super crowded and over simulating, barely any new young artists and the same drop shipped stuff you see at every con 😔

Also, the company that runs a lot of the English comic-cons is starting up here in November and it looks like it might be a better con (bigger venue, better celeb names ect). DCC has been a poorly run con for years and it looks like it’s getting worse, it’s just that we don’t really have anything better here. so if the new one turns out to be better I reckon I’ll stop going to DCC.

Exactly!!! I was so overstimulated today and the artist venue just made me cry since I had to climb over people just to realise most of the stalls were ai slop. Hopefully by next year dcc will learn its lesson but they probably do not care

like plus the way all the food is card only and not cash and stupid ai body pillows on the ground floor like what... the artist alley was such a disappointment their was like 5 good stalls and the rest were just reprints

the artist alley was BUTT there was about 15 stalls packed into one room, they blocked off the MASSIVE huge hall they usually use, why???? Genuinely why waste all that space on nothing
