The girls have been getting the belly piercing at 14/15 for forever. Most my cheer kids have them. I never got mine because I cheered and didn’t want to deal with it 😂

Wear a bandage over it when dancing to try to prevent sweat and hitting it. I was an assistant dance teacher when i got mine and two year old kicked me in it 🫤 i learned my lesson quick to cover it lol

Our local tattoo shop does discounts on Friday the 13th, so I took my 16yo to get her belly button pierced on 3-13-20…yep, the first day of a pandemic 😂😂 Kennedy’s looks great!!!

The worst part of getting my belly button pierced was for sure the healing. Hurt more than the actual piercing part. It looks great!! Hope it heals nice and fast

With as much as she sweats and dances, I would definitely get her into some surgical steel or titanium jewelry. Especially if they had to finagle with the anatomy of her belly button. Spend the money on the expensive jewelry.

my dad said I couldn’t get one while living under his roof. the first time I came home from college for the weekend, I got it done! I wanted to do it at the same places ive had other piercings and tattoos rather than go to one out of state that I knew nothing about. i’ve had it for 10 years now and love it so much!!

I had gotten mine done at 15 being a competition dancer and went straight to dance the same day 😅 now I’m almost 32 and never had any problems with it. Side note looks great on stage in two piece costumes!
