In Islam we believe Prophet Adam's son Qabil or Cain, after killing his brother Habil or Abel, learnt to bury his brother, after God sent down a crow that scratched the Earth to bury a dead crow. I'm not saying this to be religious in a video about animals, I'm just telling a belief from my religion that felt right time and place cuz of crows. 🖤

In Jewish and Islamic traditions, God sent a Crow to teach the first human how to bury the dead, so I find this so poetic. 😭😭😭

I did something very similar for one of the magpies in my area. They’re my favorite to set seed out, they have a big platform I built in my backyard for so I could lay food out for them. They all deserve respect in death.

Crow died in my arms today😢 found him on the sidewalk and drove to the vet hospital and he didn’t make it. I cried for hours. 30 min later a flock of 100 crows flew over my car🖤

a magpie died in my yard randomly so I set up a little burial and left out treats and water for it's friends and after a few hours I got rid of it. the birds left me gifts every day for weeks 😭😭

I would personally take a few feathers and leave them around the burial so his family can still have his feathers and maybe me to, as I love feathers and if I had a bond with the crow i’d probably want a physical memory of it
